Best Affiliate Products, Where to find them and pick the best

The Big Question on everyone's mind is ...

You can make money online through affiliate programs?

The answer is yes and yes and yes!

It 's quite possible to make money online, there are all kinds of articles and stories of people who have been successful in making money through affiliate programs. A great example is Affiliate Super Star Rosalind Gardner who makes over $ 400,000 a year. You can read a review of successes at Rosalind http://www.bestaffiliateproducts.com/rosalind-gardner.html

There are also lots of "little men" to do well selling affiliate products.

It has nothing to do with entering the ground floor in a particular program. It has nothing to do with having a lot of money to market your program. Yes, you need to have a marketing budget, but this is only the cost of doing business.

What it boils down to is knowing what to look for in an affiliate program.

More specifically, we look at programs that provide:

1. Products and services that are required. This is pretty obvious, right? If you do not have a market for your products or services, then it is not going to make money. Now, you've already done your research and found out that your idea of a niche has a question ... so what you are doing is looking for products and services to weave into your niche site.

The best product or service to weave in, of course, is what you have personally used. Nothing works better to give a personal recommendation. If you can, weaving testimonies of others who have used the same product or service. In this way, there is more of a voice and that goes a long way in helping a client to take a well informed buying decision.

2. Look at the structure of the Commission. The structure BEST committee is what you pay on a recurring basis. Monthly income is the best way to go, but, depending on the niche, may not always be an option for you. If this is the case then do a little detective work and check the structures of the Competition Commission, and then go for what you pay more for a sale once.

3. Increased promotion of a product / service. Now, this can get a little 'risky for you, because you do not want to confuse the customer, but you also want to have some options available to make a sale. Let me explain a little 'better for you, explaining what I did with the Golf example I referred to earlier in this course.

The niche site that I suggested I would build around the niche "golf" was 'used golf equipment'. I said I had a sort of a membership card that people could send their buy / sell items. This membership site, of course, be my own product, so that means I get 100% of the money generated by it.

I also said it may incorporate some form of comparison chart for the purchase of golf equipment used against the new. Thus if, for example a specific club was sold at $ 150 maybe $ 185 new and used, then the customer would be able to decide ... new versus old. I would still make a commission on the new item. See where I'm going with this?

Ok, now ... as well as golf products, I also have posted some good content on my website, what to look for when buying used equipment etc. I would post articles that related specifically to my niche. I would then go and apply to the Google Adsense Program and would post little ads on article pages. If a customer came and decided to clickoff some other site, at least I would like to see a commission from the click. I can then also decide to join Amazon.com or some other online book club and choose some books to recommend good golf.

So ... a niche site and I created 4 streams of income for me. This is what I mean by promoting more than one product or service. Essentially what you are doing is giving yourself a good well-rounded mix of products.

You can specialize if you want. For example, I know someone who is going to build a niche site around a specific coffee machine that you feel is going to take off. The machine consists of a specific company, which is ok. So build a site around that machine, then go a step further and weave in the coffee that you need to buy to use the machine. No other company product / service is involved, only a specific one.

See where I'm going with this? and how powerful affiliate programs can be ... if you know how to use them properly.

Ok, so let's recap what we need to look for when you decide to participate in affiliate programs.

1. YOU WANT programs with products / services that are required.

2. YOU WANT programs that pay commissions monthly if you can have the right affiliate product. Or at least, you want to shop around and find the products with the best commission rate out there.

3. YOU WANT an arsenal of programs that link or tie one another to give you multiple streams of income.

This is what I look for in an affiliate program. Now, let's cover how to find an affiliate program for your niche.

The most obvious way to do this is to go directly to the merchant's website that you want to work, and see if they offer an affiliate program. If they do not ... do not worry, we have few other places to check out. We will find an affiliate program for you.

There are three main sites that you can use, and so it happened yesterday, we've covered in "Tools of the Trade niche." To avoid having to go over your notes, here they are again:

1. Commission Junction http://www.cj.com

CJ is the affiliate program directory for physical products and downloadable. They have hundreds of merchants listed within their directory. They also joined forces with BeFree, another affiliate directory. You can register for the CJ site, and then on the home page you'll see CJ BFAST.

Sign up for both and then, once you are in your account, you can connect both to get the best of both sites. All affiliates are listed, as well as their commission structures. They also provide banners, advertisements and links that you can weave into your site.

2. Clix Galore http://www.clixgalore.com/AffSelectProgram.aspx?AdvProgID=26

clixGalore has about 3500 affiliate merchants listed within their directory. From Mickey Mouse watches to Health and nutritional products, and everything else.

It 's also a directory without cost to join, and like CJ, they will also provide marketing materials to incorporate into your website.

3. ClickBank http://www.clickbank.com

ClickBank is yet another affiliate directory. It 's the most popular directories sharp for downloadable products. Actually they only handle downloadable affiliate products.

Here you can take anywhere from 10% - 75% commissions on products or services you sell. Acceptable affiliate commissions today range from 25% to 55%.

The great thing about ClickBank is that their products are listed by popularity. So, it makes your job a little 'easier. You can go right for the product / service that is making good sales.

Of course these directories will help you find the right merchant program to weave into your site in order to make money, but ... do your homework! Find what you are going to pay higher commissions.

Use the information you just read and apply to all sites in your niche and you can not go wrong!

This article is an excerpt from my 7-Day Niche Madness eCourse. It costs you nothing to sign up for it with the best affiliate products.
