Get me a number one Google SEO Rank!

Over the past two months we had a lot of interest from individuals and organizations with existing websites eager to reach the Holy Grail of internet marketing, or to put into words my clients "get to the top of Google (and make money from ... it). " There are many "SEO, or Search Engine Optimization experts" on the web and about 37 million entries in google.co.uk. It 'a hot topic and now more than ever with the global crisis, businesses large and small are looking to the digital world for a quick solution at low cost.

Not being one to bite the hand that feeds, I came to realize that a little 'to chew really does no harm either. What I mean by this you ask?! Well let's say that in my experience a certain amount of realignment expectations of the customer must take place when it comes to SEO. While yes you can get a site ranked highly in Google (and we have demonstrated with our clients) there's really quick and no guarantee is made of cast iron. While looking for customers for their numbers so even an elusive SEO, eager to tap into the secrets of Google's search algorithm. Sites that offer immediate and guaranteed results rankings really need to be approached with caution: one example is the Google Money Tree, which unlike its name has absolutely no affiliation with Google whatsoever. But still people have been deceived and will continue to be when the product or company offering the service appears genuine, has a good professional site and tells all the things you're looking for. E 'marketing ... Marketing doubtful, but it seems to work.

I spent many hours trawling through the websites of people, watching and analyzing the lines and lines of code of the website, and at the end of the day I can not stress how important the content is actually. Take the site Alkimi for example, is very simple, no flashy graphics, no "you get to number one" and no "25% discount if you buy now" offers. But it would be surprising that in recent months the average time spent on our site for a couple of minutes to 10 minutes +? Why? Well content has a huge role to play, we have kept our product pages as easy as possible to start. There is no reason to put random junk on the site just to fill space, but there is a reason to add useful and interesting content.

The blogs and news releases Alkimi found great success, and in fact are leading calls to the company. SEO in this game really should not be about just getting someone to find, but more and more about finding someone to stay on your site and get something. The only way to do this is through the content. Give the people what they want, give them something interesting, and somewhat 'more important, We drive them to the desired result. It is typical sales funnel only in a digital format. What makes a good sales person? Someone who can close the deal. Unfortunately, too few sales people nearby, and also too few companies drive their desired result on their websites.

I talked to a lot of start-ups in recent months, people looking for a brand new web site and above all I heard the same thing, people want their site created on the cheap. OK, so most designers can make a £ 200 website or not. The point is that if you do not have technical knowledge are the chances you'll be inundated with a website has never been able to update. With this you will automatically lose the benefits of SEO blogs, press releases and updates. Technically you want to guarantee a certain number of things when you create a site for the first time, put the security in the beginning will save you a hell of a lot later, when it comes to optimizing the line. My mind is tried by companies that still manage to sell static brochure sites for clients looking for a cheap deal, in reality the world has moved on and you'd be surprised at how "cheap", a non-static, management content of the site can really be enabled. If you do not believe me or if you want to know more about this stuff CMS give me a call or e-mail me.

For those who already have websites and are looking to optimize its important to carefully analyze both the technical elements of the site pages as well as elements of off-site. In English that means that you obviously need to look at technical elements such as meta tags, robots.txt files, sitemaps (the list goes on!) And things outside of the site as incoming links from other sites. Again there is no point doing anything if the content is not hitting the right spot, so careful copy writing web site is equally important and also works hand in hand with the analysis that takes place for the technical part that is to say the words relevant keywords and page title tags, etc..

I will leave this blog with an invitation that has been done to me by another "top digital marketing" agency last week. I picked up the phone and was told by an enthusiastic sales person that I can secure a spot in Google. I told them that I have done SEO for a living, I was told this was better than SEO, and that would give me the results I needed. I asked if this was the publicity, they said no, not an advertisement, but you get to the top of Google, guaranteed. "This is AdWords?" I asked, "Yes you know AdWords?" he replied. "Yes, I know, and advertising, and would require me to pay a monthly fee for you to handle. When you stop paying, my position in Google disappear is not it?" Phone ... runs out.

So just to clarify, to reach the colored boxes on the top and right of a Google search can be done easily, but you have to pay for the privilege. Its definitely worth it for some customers, but there is a difference between SEO and AdWords. SEO requires a commitment by the site owner, is a long way, but worth more in the long term with respect to advertising quick fix. Being on top of Google with good content and of course adhering to the Google Search Engine Optimization [seo-http://www.alkimi.co.uk/alkimi-services/seo/17-get-me-a-google-number-1 -rank] undoubtedly gives a site a lot more influence over any high position through advertising. Do not be confused with the two, however, is a common misconception that many retailers and AdWords are happy for customers to be more confused. Another misconception is that they manage for you ... if money is tighter than their time, and cost-benefit analysis works in your favor so I encourage you to manage your AdWords campaign.

In the coming weeks I will write a little 'about the importance of items on site and off-site for those interested in a crash course in SEO. I would also point out some common mistakes and pitfalls that you make when trying to get that high-ranking Google -. The purpose of this is to allow at least to make an informed decision when it comes to optimization and do not fall into the same traps, as others before you ....
