Visiting the Eternal City: Rome in Three Days

I do not think anyone needed to present the reasons why at least once in life you have to visit known as the Eternal City, Rome, one of the oldest and most spectacular cities one can find the old continent. There is not a corner of the city not worth visiting, because behind every corner or in any alley is a masterpiece to behold.

Beautiful and charming cities in Europe there are plenty of them, let's not forget places like Paris or the magical Prague, but none of them has the artistic potential of the Italian capital. Its squares, churches, bridges, museums, etc ... captured the attention of everyone who comes to visit. The trouble is that this city has many things to see and usually we have little time to visit, so here I will summarize the main thing to say that one has visited Rome.

You can start the first morning by the Vatican area. Turn your steps towards the Plaza de San Pedro, where you will find the largest existing Catholic church, the Basilica of San Pedro. Inside visits after enduring the best possible input queue, and then do not hesitate to enter the Vatican Museums, which houses the famous Sistine Chapel Michael? Angel. With all this, probably you will have spent most of the morning, so playing time to go eat at the restaurants in the area, which is enough.

Once started the afternoon, get close to the area of the Forum, Palatine and Colosseum. Sure before you get here, you will pass in front of the Circus Maximus, privileged place of the Roman games. The visit to the Colosseum and the Forum can take you well all afternoon, especially the input queue to the Coliseum. Arrived the evening, you can get close to the area of Trastevere, where you will find most restaurants and areas of environment where you can enjoy a drink after a busy day of sightseeing.

Begins the second day, and this is not going to be quieter than the last. You have all day to walk around the tourist center of the city, visiting places, churches and monuments that are located at street level. Among the places we highlight the Piazza Navona, the Plaza of Spain, Plaza del Campidoglio and Piazza Venezia. As churches, we must see San Giovanni in Lateran, Santa Maria Maggiore, Santa Maria in Ara Coeli and Santa Maria della Scala. As for the monuments at street level, do not miss the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Castel Sant'Angelo. When this intense acabéis walk and afternoon, again give a tour of the Trastevere neighborhood and visit the Church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Then stay for dinner and enjoy a stroll through the streets of this neighborhood is so characteristic of the city.

Now for the third day I left so many different activities take a boat trip on the river Tiber, go away to the park of Villa Borghese or enjoy the Vatican Gardens. This is also a good time to visit some of the museums throughout the city there. We do not recommend any particular given the large number and variety there is in each one of them, as they say, are the colors to taste.

Now I is the most difficult, it is to find a cheap hotel in Rome and this is not easy. The more you turn away from downtown, the hotels are cheaper, and you may be worthwhile to drive you a bit as communications with the center of the city are pretty good, either by subway, bus or tram. The subway ends at 00:00, but you always have the option of night buses in order to enjoy the night in Rome.

After reading this, I have been wanting to know more about this lovely city, so here I leave a page where you can see a lot more about all this:
